Happy Monday Evening! Happy 7th Night of Chanukah Celebration! From October 28: We checked out of the Holiday Inn (Southampton) (BTW our room over looked the cruise dock) and smoothly embarked onto the Celebrity Eclipse, taking us for 15 days from Southampton to Miami, Florida. While the RMS Queen Mary 2 crossing was 7 days, the Eclipse is doing a 7 day crossing, and then doing ports of call at New York, New York, Boston, Massachusetts, Kings Wharf, Bermuda and Nassau, Bahamas, before disembarking us in Miami, Florida. We had a large balcony room, similar to the one on the The Queen Mary Two, and met some fun folks, eg Ingeborg Jenkins and Ian, dinned at the officer's table, and went to a lot of helicopter pad parties, as we were coming into, or leaving ports. WE ALSO CELEBRATED OUR 26TH ANNIVERSARY ONE MONTH EARLY ON NOVEMBER 7TH, AND ELLEN WAS GIVEN A GIANT BIN OF SUGAR FREE, GLUTEN FREE PANECOTTA!! Ellen was also interviewed on ship wide TV.
